I work in the graphic design sector but my real love is for beautiful art and beautiful women, so I spend some of my spare time producing stuff that pays homage to the flavours that fascinate me, from the likes of John Singer-Sargent & Mucha, through classic American pin-up, to Olivia and more modern takes on glamour.
My art is a reflection of this, and is intended as an antidote to today's cynical and knowing world, which seems to dismiss anything beautiful as naive or old fashioned or irrelevant. I try to emphasise the sensual rather than the erotic, and the fun rather than the pornographic. It's an expression of fantasy which hopefully helps lift the spirits and divert us from the relentless whirl of gritty reality, at least for a little while!
